Concord Condo

A study in minor architectural interventions that made meaningful spatial impact. The homeowner requested that we “de-white boxify” the existing spaces, which though lovely to begin with, were a series of simple rectangles with one long hallway. Building off curved cherry casework designs from a previous architect, a new curved wall with integrated electric fireplace and television softens an existing black wall. Various opening arrangements between the living room and study were considered and an option that connect existing windows along the exterior wall is being pursued.
